Volleyball Opens BIG EAST Tournament Friday versus Pittsburgh

Cincinnati travels to the BIG EAST Tournament as the No. 2 seed and the Bearcats face off with No. 7 seed, and tournament host, Pittsburgh, at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 at Fitzgerald Field House. Cincinnati (25-5; 12-2 BIG EAST) earned a share of the BIG EAST regular-season championship on Sunday, Nov. 16, with a three-set win over Rutgers.

Volleyball Receives Votes for Third Straight Week in Bison/AVCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll

11/17/2008 - In the Nov. 17 release of the Bison/AVCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll, the University of Cincinnati's volleyball team received 13 votes, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced today. It is the third consecutive week that UC has received votes in the poll. (more)

Volleyball Earns Share of BIG EAST Regular-Season Championship

11/16/2008 - With a three-set win over Rutgers and a St. John's loss to DePaul, the University of Cincinnati volleyball team earned a share of the BIG EAST Conference regular-season championship. It is the second regular-season championship that the University of Cincinnati has won, regardless of sport, since joining the BIG EAST in 2005, and the first for the volleyball program. (more)
