Allison Couch was named Conference USA's Golfer of the Month.

CINCINNATI, Ohio---For the second time in her career, University of Cincinnati women?s golfer Allison Couch has been named Conference USA Golfer of the Month. She was honored for her outstanding play during the month of April.

Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) wrapped up her junior season in style, winning two of the last three tournaments she entered and placing in the top-25 of the other two events in which she played. Couch took the top spot in the Krump Kup, winning the 18-hole event with a score of 82. In UC?s next outing, the Bronco Invitational, Couch fired rounds of 74 and 76 to take a five-stroke win in the tournament.

In her first tournament of the month, Couch earned a 21st place tally in the Lady Eagle Invitational, while she wrapped up the season with a C-USA Championship finish of 22nd. The result at the league tournament, represented her career-best at the season-ending event. Couch finished the 2003-04 season with a team-best average of 80.9, while also firing the squad?s lowest round of the season, a 72.

This marks the second time in her career that Couch has been honored by C-USA. She also picked up the award after winning the Notre Dame Invitational in September 2002.
