CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The University of Cincinnati has placed season tickets on sale for the 2005 inaugural BIG EAST season.

A ?best available? adult season ticket for all five UC home games is $120. In addition, UC is offering two other adult season ticket packages. Fans can purchase season tickets in Section ?C? 112 for $90 and season tickets in Section ?C? 214 and 215 for $75. Youth 12 and under qualify for a $64 ticket. UC Faculty and Staff may purchase a season ticket for $96.

The Bearcats begin play in the BIG EAST Conference in 2005, joining perennial bowl contenders Pittsburgh, Syracuse and West Virginia along with long-time rival, Louisville. Joining the BIG EAST places Cincinnati in the Bowl Championship Series, providing the opportunity to compete for a berth in the Fiesta, Orange, Sugar and Rose Bowls. UC?s schedule includes six teams which appeared in bowl games in 2004, three of whom will visit Nippert Stadium this fall.

The defending CapitalPlains Fort Worth Bowl champion Bearcats, under the direction of second-year head coach Mark Dantonio, have home dates with 2004 bowl game participants Connecticut (Oct. 15), Louisville (Oct. 22) and West Virginia (Nov. 9). Rounding out the home schedule is the season opener against Eastern Michigan on Thursday, Sept. 1 and a non-league contest with Western Carolina on Sept. 17.

Tickets may be purchased on-line at UCBearcats.com , or by calling 513-556-CATS. Tickets may also be purchased Monday ? Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UC Athletic Ticket Office at One Edwards Center. The Corry Street lot, across from the Edwards Center, provides convenient parking.
