The Future Bearcats were out in full force this past Saturday as the Goshen Warriors played host to the Lakota Tomahawks for a full day of youth football action. The UC Marketing Team was in attendance and answered questions about UC Athletics, interacted with fans, and handed out over 200 posters!
"The Super Bowl Saturday event made me feel like I was back on campus with all the red and black of the Goshen Warriors and Lakota Tomahawks," said Ronnie Semro of the UC Athletics Marketing Team.
The FUTURE BEARCATS Program, presented by GameWorks, served over 10,000 youth last season and is back for another great year! This year, all participants in the football portion of FUTURE BEARCATS receive a red Future Bearcats T-shirt, a limited edition Bearcats helmet sticker, UC Bearcats eye black, and the opportunity to form the pregame tunnel when the Bearcats take the field! Each participant will also receive a 30 minute game card to GameWorks located at Newport on the Levee.
In addition to coming to the game, the UC marketing staff and the Bearcat will attempt to attend a practice or event of yours throughout the football season, schedule permitting. This is a great program for organizations to present their kids with a unique experience in college athletics.
Tickets for the FUTURE BEARCATS Program are $20 to each home game. Some games are already sold out as we limit the number of teams per game in an effort to enhance the experience for the teams in attendance.
