CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team returns to the courts against their foes from across the river, Northern Kentucky. The match, scheduled for Wednesday, April 4, has been moved to Western Tennis and Fitness Club and will begin at 1:30 p.m.

// LOOKING BACK
The Bearcats are coming off a thrilling victory over the Xavier Musketeers. Xavier came out with their swords sharpened for the match and quickly took the doubles point. As play moved to singles, the Bearcats battled back as Emma Miceli got things started with a 6-3, 6-1 victory. Ioana Guna followed quickly behind with a 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 victory, tying the match at 2-2. Xavier retook the lead, but Caroline Morton knotted things back up with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 victory. With a beautiful back hand Anna Philp sent the Musketeers packing with one less feather in their caps. Philp clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-7 (2), 6-4 victory.

// SCOUTING THE NORSE
It has been a tough season for the Norse as they've spent plenty of time in their longships traveling to faraway lands in search of victories. After a rocky start, the Bruins of Belmont thought they defeat the Norse in their homelands but were vanquished and sent retreating back to whence they came. With Odin on their side, the Norse traveled home after clinching a 5-2 victory in battle against IUPUI and will look to carry that momentum with them as they once again pack in to their longships for the long journey across the river to face the Bearcats.

The Norse are led by a fierce warrior, Margita Sunjic. Sunjic holds a four-match win streak in singles play.
