CINCINNATI – Three members of the University of Cincinnati track & field program earned honors from the American Athletic Conference Tuesday.

Caisja Chandler was named the AAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week, Taylor Beard earned AAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week and Chris Borzor was tabbed as the AAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week. This marks the first weekly awards for these athletes this season.

OUT ON TOP
Chandler had a dominating performance on Saturday at the H-Town SpeedCity Series, claiming a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.83, while placing second in the 60-meter dash with a clocking of 7.46. Chandler, the school record holder in both events, now owns eight of the top 10 spots on UC's all-time chart in the 200-meter and five of the top 10 in the 60m dash. Chandler sits atop the AAC in the 200-meters and holds the No. 2 spot in the 60-meters, just .02 off the No. 1 spot.

UP AND OVER
Beard continues to soar past the competition in both height and rank in the women's high jump. For the second time this season Beard took the first-place finish in the high jump at the H-Town SpeedCity Series, with a personal-best mark of 1.83m (6-0), which also checks in as the fourth best effort in program history. Beard sits at the No. 5 spot in the NCAA and number the No. 1 spot in the AAC.

PASSING THROUGH
Borzor crossed the line on Saturday with a time of 21.00 in the 200-meter dash, enough to secure the victory at the H-Town SpeedCity Series this past weekend. His season-best clocking put him atop the AAC rankings and moved him up to No. 14 nationally. Borzor also holds the AAC's top spot in the 400-meter dash and the No. 6 spot in the 60-meter dash.

UP NEXT
