CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati women's basketball freshman guard A'riel Jackson was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Monday.
This is the first time in her career that she has been selected.
Jackson finished with a team-high 19 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the field and 8 of 9 from the line, in addition to two assists and two rebounds in 26 minutes against Temple last Saturday. The 19 points is the second double-digit game for Jackson and ties the most by a Bearcat freshman since Jillian Hayes scored 20 points against Temple on Jan. 13, 2020. She made her second straight start to open conference action and her third total start of the season.
Cincinnati travels to take on SMU inside Moody Coliseum on Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
