The University of Cincinnati Strategic Brand Engagement Office is ready to assist you in every way possible to make the experience of covering UC Athletics productive and rewarding. For this reason, we have developed policies and procedures which will require cooperation on the part of the media. Not complying with these policies will result in the refusal of credentials/access.

INTERVIEW POLICIES
• All interviews must be coordinated through the UC Strategic Brand Engagement Office and must be requested at least one day in advance.
• Player or coach interviews should be requested through the media contact for each sport.
• Team locker rooms and the training room is off limits to media representatives at all times.
• Media may not contact current student-athletes directly under any circumstances.
• Postgame interviews with coaches and athletes also are coordinated through the sport media contacts.
• Typically, requested student-athletes and coaches will be made available on the playing surface or in a designated media area following a 10-15 minute cooling-off period.
• While every effort will be made to accommodate all needs, student-athlete availability is determined on an event-by-event basis.
