Dr. Victoria Heasley
Dr. Victoria Heasley started at UC as an attending physician in August 2023 after previously starting residency in 2018 and fellowship in 2022.

Heasley's responsibilities include the prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries or illnesses for the student-athletes. She also teaches and researches within the UC Biomedical Engineering department with a focus on adaptive sports equipment and athletes' biomechanics. 

She previously provided sideline coverage for local high schools, Miami (Ohio) and various adaptive sports in the area, including the Cincinnati Dragons and Icebreakers. In her spare time, she volunteers with The Bridge Adaptive Sports and Recreation to help develop and bring adaptive sports opportunities to the area.

Heasley is a native of Greensburg, Pa., and earned her bachelor's (2014) and doctorate (2018) degrees from Penn State in biomedical engineering and medicine, respectively. She is a member of AAPM&R, AMSSM and the co-founder and president of the non-profit The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation, in addition to being a board member of the Greater Cincinnati Adaptive Sports Club.

She is married to Dr. Rodger Rothenberger and enjoys spending time with her dog, Han Solo, trying new restaurants locally and around the country in travel, as well as baking and hiking. She was also a cast member at Walt Disney World.
