Lorna Rose
Rose joined the University of Cincinnati Bearcats as Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Development in December 2023.

With a primary focus on personal development, Rose works directly with student-athletes through The Academy to provide them with the education, tools, and empowerment they need for life beyond their athletic careers. She was also on a panel for Reframing Female Athletes' Media Narratives, NIL Sponsorships and the Fight for Equity at the Inclusive Sports Summit in Colorado in February 2025.
 
Rose comes to UC with over a decade of experience as a communication and brand strategist in the sports and entertainment industries. She has previously served as Executive Director of an annual sports convention founded by Tony Romo, a professional development coach and mentor within the Miss America Organization, and a consultant for professional athletes exploring off-field business endeavors.
 
Rose earned her bachelor’s degree in social work in 2011 from Syracuse University before obtaining her law degree from New England Law | Boston in 2018. During her time in law school, Rose interned for the first woman to negotiate an NFL quarterback deal. She returned to Syracuse University to earn her master’s degree in communications from the renowned S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2021.
