CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics is partnering with Pepsi for a five-game pregame football concert series in the Gridiron Tailgate area. The Bearcats Music Festival Presented by Pepsi Live at the Grid will start two hours before kickoff and end 30 minutes before gametime. The stage will be located in the southwest corner of the Grid. The Naked Karate Girls kick things off on Sept. 1 (UT Martin), Brother Smith will take the stage on Sept. 14 (Houston) and Cherry On Top will close out the month on Sept. 24 (Miami Ohio). Zack Attack performs on Oct. 1 (USF) and What She Said closes out the five-game show on Oct. 22 (East Carolina). UC opens its 2016 campaign on Thursday, Sept. 1, when UT Martin visits historic Nippert Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Season tickets and mini-plans are available now starting at $99. The Grid is located on Campus Green and offers 100-plus tailgating plots to allow fans to bring their pregame parties to the heart of campus. The Grid opens six hours prior to gametime unless the game is kicking off at noon. For noon games, the Grid will open at 8 a.m. Plots are sold on a season-long basis for $300 and interested fans can contact the UCATS office at 513-556-4884 for more information.
