CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Former Bearcat and current Pittsburgh Steeler Andre Frazier will be giving back to his community on Saturday, June 17. For two hours, he will be appearing at Martino's on Vine and signing autographs to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The event will take place from 2-4 p.m. at Martino's on Vine, 2618 Vine St. in Corryville. Others Bearcats expected to participate include former Daven Holly, a member of the Chicago Bears; and Adam Roberts, who is a free agent with the Tennessee Titans.
A silent auction will be taking place auctioning off autographed items from the athletes present as well as autographed pictures and footballs from various notable Steelers athletes. Proceeds from this auction will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Frazier played a role in helping the Pittsburgh Steelers get to the 2006 NFL Super Bowl. He is a graduate of Hughes High School who originally joined UC as a walk-on defensive end. He is currently an outside linebacker for the Steelers.
