TULSA, Okla. – University of Cincinnati women's golf readies for competition Monday-Tuesday, April 9-10, at the 2018 Tulsa Dale McNamara Invitational at Tulsa Country Club.
 
// THE TOURNAMENT
The stroke play event will span two days with 36 holes played on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Play will commence both days with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m.

At the Dale McNamara Invitational, five golfers will comprise UC's scoring team, with one student-athlete competing individually.

The 13-team field features Cincinnati, Florida Gulf Coast, Fresno State, Mississippi State, Missouri State, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, South Florida, Texas A&M, Texas State, Texas Tech, Wichita State and host Tulsa
 
// LAST TIME OUT
UC completed competition March 19 at the Notre Dame Clover Cup at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona with a third-round 309 to total 934 over three days to finish 14th on the team leaderboard. Gloor was UC's leading golfer throughout the tournament with a three-round 231 to tie for 48th overall.
 
After turning in a score of 317 during the second round, the Bearcats bounced back with a final-round 309 to place 14th out of 16 teams. Junior Anika Hitt (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) carded the Red & Black's best round of the tournament in the third with a one-over-par 73, including a personal-best 15-straight pars and a birdie on hole No. 18. Hitt finished the tournament in a tie for 53rd on the individual leaderboard with a three-day 233. Gloor holed a Bearcats-best two birdies on the final day, while Burritt added a birdie on hole No. 2. Keeling had to withdraw from the tournament after eight holes in the third round.
