TULSA, Okla. – University of Cincinnati women's golf totaled a score of 610 on Monday after two rounds at the 2018 Tulsa Dale McNamara Invitational at Tulsa Country Club to sit in eighth place out of 13 teams. // BEARCATS IN THE FIELD
In its final tune-up before the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championship next week, UC struggled on the back nine holes of the opening round, but really bounced back on the front. The Red & Black holed nine birdies, featuring one by Keeling (Knoxville, Tenn./Farragut) and a Bearcats-best three by freshman Vanessa Manrique (Bogotá, Colombia). After a team score of 302 during the first round, UC followed with a 308 in the second. The round was bolstered by a strong performance by Keeling who saved par on 11 holes and added a birdie on hole No. 10. All told, the Red & Black are on the heels of host Tulsa -- who is in seventh with a two-round 606 -- and ahead of AAC foes Wichita State and USF who are ninth and 10th, respectively.
