Women’s Golf Tees off Season Monday at Elks Run

BATAVIA, Ohio – University of Cincinnati women's golf will tee off the 2018 fall season Monday at the NKU Fall Classic at Elks Run Golf Club.

BATAVIA, Ohio – University of Cincinnati women's golf will tee off the 2018 fall season Monday at the NKU Fall Classic at Elks Run Golf Club.
 
// THE TOURNAMENT
The stroke-play tournament will span two days with 36 holes played on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Play will begin both days with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m.

// BEARCATS IN THE FIELD
At the NKU Fall Classic, the entire UC team will compete with five golfers playing as part of the Bearcats scoring team and four competing as individuals.

The 13-team field includes host Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Illinois, Green Bay, IUPUI, Lipscomb, Morehead State, Oakland, UIC, UNC Asheville, and Youngstown State.
 
// BEARCATS BYTES
Seven UC golfers will be back in 2018-19, including leading returning scorer Burritt who posted a 76.9 scoring average over 32 rounds last year. Hitt, who shot a team-best round of 70 last season, also returns, along with rising junior and sophomore classes. In addition, UC will welcome a two-golfer freshman class featuring Evans and Rinker.
