Sophomore Sam Jean (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove HS) and junior Clay Amlung (Louisville, Ky./Saint Xavier) each registered career-best finishes, tying for sixth at 1-under par 215 on Sunday, Oct. 27 at the Steelwood Collegiate Invitational at the Steelwood Country Club in Loxley, Ala. It marked the second career top-10 finish for Amlung.
The Bearcats finished fifth in the 13-team field at 7-over 291-294-286=871.

"This is our first trip to Turtle Point. It's a Nicklaus design and certainly will require great shot making, as all of his courses do.
