CINCINNATI - The No. 19 University of Cincinnati football team faces a short week, closing out the regular season on Friday, Nov. 29, 2019 against No. 18 Memphis in Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Bearcats have won their past two games by a combined five points have won nine straight overall and in league play. Memphis (10-1, 6-1 AAC) is ranked ahead of UC in the College Football Playoff poll and enter on a five-game win streak. The game will air on ABC and 700 WLW AM.

WE ARE THE (EAST DIVISION) CHAMPIONS
The Bearcats (10-1, 7-0 AAC) have clinched the American Athletic Conference East Division and a spot in the league-championship game on Saturday, Dec. 7. If UC wins at Memphis Friday, it would earn the right to host the title game at Nippert Stadium against either Memphis or Navy. If Memphis wins, the Bearcats would head to Memphis for the title game, playing the same opponent two weeks in a row for the first time in school history. 

THE SERIES
Friday marks the 35th meeting all-time between the two squads and the first since 2016 in a series that dates to 1984. The Tigers lead the all-time series 21-13. UC and UM have split the last two matchups in Memphis with the Tigers holding an overall three-game win streak.
