CINCINNATI - The No. 8 University of Cincinnati football team, 2020 American Athletic Conference Champions, face No. 9 Georgia in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at noon inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Friday's game marks UC's first New Year's Six bowl since appearing in back-to-back games in 2008 and 2009 will be televised by ESPN and air on 700 WLW AM.
UC held its second media opportunity of bowl week Tuesday with Defensive Coordinator Marcus Freeman, S Darrick Forrest, CB Coby Bryant, DE Elijah Ponder, LB Joel Dublanko and CB Ahmad Gardner meeting virtually with the media.

THE SERIES
The teams have met twice previously but New Year's Day will mark the first meeting in over 44 years. Georgia holds a 2-0 edge in the series, winning a 35-13 decision at Nippert Stadum on Oct. 24, 1942 and a 31-17 matchup at Sanford Stadium on Oct. 30, 1976. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl marks the first matchup at a neutral site.

2021 SEASON TICKET DEPOSITS
The Athletics Ticket Office is now accepting deposits for 2021 football season tickets. Any fan who was not a season ticket holder in 2019, placed a deposit for season tickets ahead of the 2020 season, should make a deposit online and reserve their spot in Nippert Stadium for the 2021 campaign!
New season ticket holders who make a deposit will have access to season ticket locations ahead of the general public during the spring 2021 selection window. Deposits are only needed for fans who did not have season tickets in 2019.
