CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team rides a two-game winning streak into a Sunday road matchup at Central Michigan. 
 
The Bearcats (3-2) and Chippewas (3-3) are set for a noon ET first draw at the CMU Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. CMU is coming off an 11-8 loss to No. 19 Louisville on Friday. Cincinnati knocked off Kent State last Sunday, 15-5 and Robert Morris, 16-7, on Wednesday.

UC is 4-1 all-time against CMU and 1-1 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. The teams have met annually since 2016, including a 15-14 win by Cincinnati at Gettler Stadium a year ago. Alyssa Adams had a career-best six goals along with six draw controls and two ground balls.
 
Kylie Nause (17g, 1a), Adams (16g, 14dc, 8gb) and Monica Borzillo (12g, 14a, 7gb) lead the UC offense. Morgan Dukes returned to the lineup against RMU and was a noticeable presence on the back line, scooping three ground balls and causing two turnovers.
 
Adrianna Fess (16gb, 10ct) and Alexandra Fess (11gb, 5ct) help anchor the defense. GK Kate Brocato has 33 saves on the year.
