CINCINNATI -- The University of Cincinnati women's golf team is ready for its third fall tournament, the Rocket Classic in Port Clinton, Ohio.
The two-day event will be held at the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, a par-72, 6,118-yard course. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
Tournament Field
Ball State, Bowling Green, Butler, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Indianapolis, Purdue Fort Wayne, Ohio and Toledo. All three of the team's events this season have been two-day commitments, with the opener in North Carolina (sixth out of 10 teams) featuring the full 36 holes to start.
Team Reps
Katie Hallinan, Sadie Pan, Paighton Masterson, Alexis Daniel, Makenna Jones and Julia Rabadam will see action this week. The latter three all made their collegiate debuts this past week in Indiana, with Rabadam leading the pack with a 10-over 154, tying for sixth. Daniel and Jones tied for 17th with a 17-over 161.
Masterson is the only one of the six that is in her third year as a Bearcat, and she has posted a solid 77.80 stroke average after being in the 79s her first two seasons. Hallinan paces the squad at 74.40.
