CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati women's golf team continues its spring campaign Sunday in the two-day Babs Steffens Invitational in Daytona Beach, Fla.
The action will take place at the LPGA International - Hills Course, a par-72, 6,005-yard venture. This will be the seventh out of nine tournaments that UC has played in a two-day set.
Participating teams include Alabama State, Boston University, Campbell, Fairleigh Dickinson, Georgetown, North Alabama, Seminole State, Stetson, Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Towson.
Sadie Pan, Katie Hallinan, Erin Evans, Julia Rabadam and Makenna Jones will don the Bearcat logos in the Sunshine State, while Natalia Sompolvorachai will compete individually. It also marks the team's third Florida trip in the spring alone. Hallinan and Pan continue as the only ones to appear in every tournament this season, and both lead with 76.22 and 71.17 stroke averages, respectively.
Evans has also improved her score each time over a three-tournament stretch, closing her last outing with a 77 that marked her second-lowest tally of the season.
UC's last time out was the Clover Cup in Mesa, Ariz., a muscled field that featured nine top-50 teams.
