CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team will compete in the Brickyard Collegiate for its final regular season tournament, beginning Monday in Macon, Ga.
The two-day event will take place at the par-72, 6,171-yard Brickyard Golf Course.
Graduate student Katie Hallinan, junior Paola Rosario, junior Sadie Pan, freshman Brooke Patterson and sophomore Julia Rabadam will make up the Bearcats' lineup while junior Paighton Masterson will compete individually.
The tournament field includes AAC foe Memphis as well as Mercer, Incarnate World, Troy, Seminole State, Southern Illinois and Tennessee Tech. Live scoring will be available at Golfstat.com.
Last time out, Cincinnati placed third out of 13 teams at the Babs Steffens Invitational (March 27-28). Pan posted a season-best score of 220 to finish third out of nearly 80 competitors – her best finish of the year.
Hallinan registered her eighth top-25 finish of the season, placing sixth overall. She has finished in the top 10 in three of her last four tournaments. She leads the team with a 74.44 stroke average.
Up next, Cincinnati will participate in the American Athletic Conference Championships on April 17-19 in Brooksville, Fla.
