TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati redshirt junior Chase Hopewell signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Philadelphia Phillies organization, announced following the conclusion of the 2023 Major League Draft.
The Hamilton, Ohio native led the Cincinnati staff in starts (15), innings pitched (65.1), strikeouts (52) and runners picked off (4) in 2023. He made 15 starts on the mound with a 2-6 record and 5.79 ERA.
A transfer from the University of Findlay, Hopewell totaled 110 strikeouts in 121.2 innings pitched over 40 career appearances.
