TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team has earned the No. 11 seed in the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship and will open play in the first round on Thursday at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.
The Bearcats will face 14th-seeded UCF at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, following the opening game of the Championship with Texas Tech facing Houston at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Cincinnati (5-13) held the tiebreaker in the three-way tie for 11th, taking the 11-seed with a 2-1 record against No. 12 seed Texas Tech (2-2 against tied teams) and No. 13 seed Houston (1-2 against tied teams). UC defeated UCF twice in the regular season, 64-63 in Cincinnati and 67-61 in Orlando.
The Bearcats' first round contest will be broadcast nationally on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
