CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics and The Motz Group are proud to announce a partnership that makes Motz the Official Turf Provider to UC Athletics.
Motz has been the backbone of UC's top-tier playing surfaces, delivering unmatched maintenance and turf installation services. This partnership ensures that Nippert Stadium, Gettler Stadium, UC Baseball Stadium, and all other UC athletic facilities will continue to boast the finest synthetic turf.
"As the Official Turf Provider of University of Cincinnati Athletics, we are proud to have been selected to build every square foot of synthetic sports turf for the Bearcats," said Chris Larbes, Director of Sales at Motz. "Our decade-long partnership reflects our dedication to delivering high-performance fields. These fields perform for their athletes year after year, staying in peak condition thanks to our unmatched Motz365 offerings. We're dedicated to supporting the long-term success of UC's athletic programs by providing surfaces that athletes can rely on for both performance and safety."
In addition to routine maintenance and repairs, Motz has taken on much larger projects at many UC facilities already:
Motz has also played a crucial role in maintaining and replacing the playing surfaces at Higher Ground Conference and Retreat Center, the home of Cincinnati Football's fall training camp.
The Safeshell and SmoothPlay infills provided by Motz are made from 100% USA-grown walnut shells, providing an eco-friendly solution that supports both player performance and environmental responsibility.
