University of Cincinnati volleyball has announced the addition of two standout high school athletes to the Bearcats 2025 incoming class.

CINCINNATI  – University of Cincinnati volleyball has announced the addition of two standout high school athletes to the Bearcats 2025 incoming class.
 
Fallyn Blotzer (Corona, Calif.) and Izzy Busignani (Rochester Hills, Mich.) will join the Bearcats in 2025. Blotzer is the No. 1 player in California, and Busignani ranks No. 3 in Michigan for the Class of 2025. The recruiting class is ranked 24th nationally.

Fallyn Blotzer | Oustide Hitter | 6-1 | Corona, Calif.
Blotzer excelled at Santiago High School in Corona, California, where she set a program record for most kills by a freshman. Throughout her high school career, she earned First Team All-League honors every season and was named Offensive Player of the Year and MVP twice. She led her team in kills, kills per set, aces, and digs across multiple seasons.

Competing for Coast Volleyball Club in San Diego, Blotzer led her team to a No. 1 ranking in California. She is also recognized as the No. 1 overall player in the state for the Class of 2025.

Izzy Busignani | Outside Hitter | 6-1 | Rochester Hills, Mich.
Busignani boasts an impressive resume as a two-time nominee for Michigan Gatorade Player of the Year and State Champs Player of the Year. She is a three-time First Team All-State, All-Region, and All-Catholic selection, in addition to earning MaxPreps All-America honors. As a senior, she tallied 581 kills, 310 digs, and 45 aces, leading her team in kills, kills per set, and hitting percentage for three consecutive seasons.

On the club circuit, Busignani plays for Mizuno, where she helped her team achieve top finishes in national tournaments, including fifth-place finishes at both the AAU Nationals and USAV Nationals in 2024. She is a four-time AAU All-American and two-time JVA All-National Team member.
