MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team finished the first 18 holes of the Rivertowne Invitational on Monday. The second round was nearly completed before daylight ran out. 

The second round will resume on Tuesday, with the final round beginning shortly after its conclusion. 

Mar Garcia led the Bearcats with a team-high five birdies during the first round, finishing at one-under par with a score of 71. 

Yu-Wei Chiang, looking to build on her strong performance in the season opener, shot one-over par with a 73 in the first round. 

Minoo Mousavi (79), Rim Imni (79), and Ruby Chou (81) followed in that order. Lauren Pleiman, competing as an individual, carded a 78 in the opening round.
