HANAHAN, S.C.?Junior Allison Couch carded a final round of 75 to wind up the University of Cincinnati?s women?s golf team?s participation in the College of Charleston Cougar Classic.
Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) finished the tournament tied for 39th with a three-day round total of 235. Alysa Few (London, Ontario/East Tennessee State) wrapped up her first competition as a Bearcat with a 78 in the final round to finish tied for 55th at 239.
In the team standings, the Bearcats moved up from 17th on day one to 16th by the end of the tournament on the strength of a 323 round on Tuesday. UC finished with a team total of 992, while Notre Dame took the team championship with an 889.
The Bearcats are right back in action this weekend, traveling to Louisville for the Cardinal Cup, this Friday and Saturday.
