CINCINNATI-Each Sunday in November, head coach Lellie Swords and the Bearcats players and staff will host a two-hour Winter League and Clinic at Varsity Village. The action will consist of one hour of teaching followed immediately by one hour of short-sided games that focus on skills improvement, developing game sense and breaking down offensive and defensive situations.
"The winter league and clinic is designed for players who are looking to polish their skills before the spring season starts," said Swords. "We will focus on developing individual skills as well as improving decision-making."
Individual skills such as catching, throwing, stick tricks, dodging and 1v.1 defense will be covered in the clinic portion. The Bearcats players and staff will focus on four different skills each Sunday.
The clinic is open to 75 applicants per week. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
