SARASOTA, Fla. - After shooting a team score of 307 during Sunday's opening round, the University of Cincinnati women's golf team was a stroke better on Monday with a plus-18 306 during the second round at the 38th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. The Bearcats are currently 10th out of 14 teams.

Despite challenging wind conditions, Ashley Cassidy (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) continued her stellar play from yesterday with a three-over-par 75 today. After entering play Monday in a tie for sixth place, the junior now remains among the top 10 in a tie for tenth overall with Florida Atlantic's Emily Faulkner. Senior Stefanie Mitchell (Sarasota, Fla./Riverview) has shown consistency over the two days of competition with a plus-five 77 yesterday and an identical score today to tie for 40th. Junior Tara Liebert (Mason, Ohio/Mason) and freshman Anika Hitt (Mequon, Wisc./Homestead) both bounced back on Monday with upgraded scores including four stroke (80-76) and two-stroke (80-78) improvements, respectively.
