- The Bearcats are coming off an 82-57 home win over East Carolina on Sunday. Trevon Scott posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jarron Cumberland tallied 13 points and a game-best seven assists. Jay Sorolla registered a season-high 11 points.
- Temple dropped a 68-52 decision at SMU on Saturday. Jake Forrester led the Owls with 14 points and seven rebounds.
- Cincinnati leads the series with Temple 22-9 overall, including a 7-4 mark in Philadelphia. The Bearcats have won the last five meetings, including the lone matchup last season, 72-68, in Philadelphia.
