CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's basketball team hosts Xavier University on Sunday, December 12th for the annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout. The Bearcats are set to host the shootout this year after the game was postponed last season due to COVID-19 protocols.

In recognition of the 50th year of Title IX, the Crosstown Shootout will serve as a celebration of girls and women in sports in the city of Cincinnati. In a joint effort between UC and XU, the 2021 match-up will continue the efforts of the late Bill Keating, Jr. to sell-out the Women's Crosstown Shootout on an annual basis.

The match-up will feature pre-game activities for fans, a special half-time act featuring the frisbee dogs group K9's in Flight and in-game recognitions.
