AAC Schedule Announced for Women's Basketball

CINCINNATI – In conjunction with the American Athletic Conference, the University of Cincinnati women's basketball team has released its 2021-22 conference schedule.

CINCINNATI – In conjunction with the American Athletic Conference, the University of Cincinnati women's basketball team has released its 2021-22 conference schedule.

Every team in the American will play six of its 10 conference opponents twice and the other four opponents once – two at home and two on the road.

The non-conference schedule was released a few weeks back, with the first game of the season starting Nov. 10th. You can read more about the non-conference schedule here.

The Bearcats' AAC schedule tips off Jan. 1, 2022 on the road when they head to Tulsa, Oklahoma to face off against the Hurricanes. 

The next three matchups will be at home in Fifth Third Arena against the 2021 AAC Champions South Florida (Jan. 5), Temple (Jan. 8) and Wichita State (Jan. 13). 

The Bearcats then hit the road to face the ECU Pirates (Jan. 16) and the Houston Cougars (Jan. 19). The Bearcats then host the UCF Knights (Jan. 22) before hitting the road to face Temple for a second time (Jan. 26). 

The Bearcats finish the month at home against Tulsa (Jan. 29).

Cincinnati starts the month of February on the road at Memphis (Feb. 2) before having a bye weekend. The Bearcats get back in action hosting SMU at home (Feb. 9).

The team then heads south for back to back road games - first at Tulane (Feb. 13) and then head to Tampa to face the USF Bulls (Feb. 16). 

The final two home matches of the season are against East Carolina (Feb. 19) and Memphis (Feb. 23). The Bearcats roundout AAC regular season play on the road at UCF in Orlando, Florida (Feb. 26).

Every home basketball game and several away contests will be broadcast on ESPN+ and fans are encouraged to sign up for the digital platform online.

The AAC Championship will be held in again in Forth Worth, Texas in Dickies Arena March 7-10th. Broadcast times, schedule, and ticket information will be released in the coming months. 
 
SEASON TICKETS ON SALE NOW
2021-22 women's basketball tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Cincinnati Bearcats Ticket Office at 1-877-CATS-TIX or online by clicking here. Season ticket packages are $50 for adult general admission and $30 for youth (ages 4-12), seniors (age 65+), faculty/staff, and the military. The Champions Club is available for all ages for just $70 (ages 3 and under don't need a ticket).
 
ABOUT THE BEARCATS
UC's 2021-22 roster includes seven returning players and seven new faces. 2021 AAC Freshman of the Year Jillian Hayes returns alongside seniors Arame Niang and Nesma Khalifa and juniors Jada ScottJadyn ScottSofia Gritzali, and Caitlyn Wilson. The Bearcats finished the 2020-21 season 8-16 and look to emulate the back-to-back 20-win seasons from 2018-2020. Head coach Michelle Clark-Heard heads into her fourth season with the Bearcats.
