CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati volleyball right side Avry Tatum was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll, the league office announced on Monday.
Tatum, a freshman from Cardiff, Calif., averaged 4.40 points, 4.00 kills and 1.90 digs per set in a 1-1 weekend for the Bearcats. She led the team in kills in both matches and finished with an overall hitting percentage of .277 (40-14-94).
She recorded a career-high 22 kills at a .269 clip to lead the Bearcats to a five-set victory over Temple on Friday. She followed up the performance with her first career double-double against ECU on Sunday. She posted 18 kills and a career-high 14 digs to go along with four blocks.
Tatum and the Bearcats are back home this weekend for a pair of matches against Wichita State on Friday and Tulsa on Sunday.
