CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team will travel to the Grand Canyon state for the MountainView Collegiate.
This three-day tournament will be held at the Preserve Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz., a par 72 course measuring 6,395 yards. The competition begins Sunday morning, with all three rounds featuring a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. ET.
In their previous outing, junior Mar Garcia led the team with seven birdies at the Rivertowne Invitational, finishing in a tie for sixth place. Junior Yu-Wei Chiang also had a strong performance, tying for eighth place and posted a team-high eight birdies.
The Bearcats' lineup for the tournament includes Mar Garcia, Yu-Wei Chiang, Rim Imni, Ruby Chou and Lauren Pleiman.
Joining Cincinnati in the 14-team field are host schools Missouri and Kansas State, along with Arizona, Furman, Hawaii, Iowa, Marshall, Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma, TCU, Wichita State, and Wisconsin.
