CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team wraps up their season with Dayton and West Virginia at home this week.

First serve against the Flyers is set for 2 p.m. ET on Wednesday and 1 p.m. on Saturday versus West Virginia.

The contest against Dayton will take place at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center. Weather permitting, the West Virginia match will also be hosted outdoors at the Trabert–Talbert Tennis Center; otherwise, it will be moved indoors to the Western Athletic Club.

Cincinnati (9-11) enters the week after winning two out of three matches last week. UC swept NKU, 7-0, and secured its second Big 12 win of the season after taking down Colorado, 5-1. The Bearcats fell to No. 15 Texas Tech, 4-0, in their final match of the week.

Against Colorado, Sophomore Gabrielle Guenther sealed the win for the Bearcats with a thrilling three-set victory over Ema Bubalo, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4). After trailing 4-1 in the final set, Guenther made a remarkable comeback to win in a tiebreak.

In UC's match vs NKU, sophomore Sakurako Watanabe became the first Bearcat to reach double-digit singles wins this season after she recorded a win on court No. 4 over Mariajose Hernandez. The Edgewood, Ky., native cruised through the first set, 6-2. In the second set, Hernandez retired due to injury, giving Watanabe the victory. Her record currently sits at 10-4.

Guenther looks to build off her recent success as she enters the week boasting a three-match win streak and a 9-9 singles record. In doubles, the partnership of graduate student Zeynep Erman and senior Callie Flanagan has been taking care of business recently, as they are in the midst of a three-match win streak.

// SENIOR DAY
The Bearcats will celebrate two graduating student-athletes – Erman and Flanagan – in a special ceremony following Saturday's match against West Virginia.

Flanagan concludes her impressive four-year career as a Bearcat. The Overland, Kansas native amassed 22 singles victories and 29 doubles wins while representing the red and black.

Erman transferred into the program last season after spending four years at Syracuse University and has quickly made a mark during her time at UC. The Istanbul, Turkey native has spearheaded the Bearcats all season long, anchoring court one. Erman owns a 9-5 record in singles and an 11-5 record in doubles.

Flanagan and Erman have impressed as doubles partners this season. The pair presents an impressive 9-3 record.

// SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton comes into the match with a record of 10-9 and a 2-1 record in the Atlantic 10. The Flyers won their last match against St. Bonaventure, 4-0. This marked their second sweep in a row after they took down Saint Joseph's, 4-0, earlier in the week.

Neena Katauskas leads the Flyers in singles. She holds a 12-5 overall record and is 2-0 on court No. 1.

In doubles competition, the pairing of Katauskas and Laura Greb have played well on court one, as they have a record of 5-3.

// SCOUTING THE MOUTANIEERS
West Virginia enters the match with a record of 7-16 and 1-11 in conference play. The Mountaineers dropped their last match at home against Colorado, 4-1, and are currently on a three-game skid.

In singles, Mille Haagensen holds down court one with a record of 6-13, while the duo of Michaela Kucharova and Laura Villanueva Morillo own a record of 8-4 in the number two position.
