CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics enters the 2021 football season with a school-record season-ticket number of over 22,000 Bearcats fans.
Cincinnati's season-ticket mark eclipses the previous best of 18,836 which was set entering the 2010 season.
The Bearcats external staff, which includes an account executive and customer service team, added nearly 5,000 new season tickets to the roster entering one of the most highly anticipated campaigns in school history. Student season tickets have hit a record mark of over 6,000 tickets sold, with additional inventory created in sections 214 and 215.
"We are so proud of the support of our fans and we are excited to host the Bearcats family back in Nippert this fall," Anthony Di Fino, Deputy Athletic Director, said. "We can not wait to welcome our record-breaking season ticket holders and supporters back to campus for game days. We encourage our fans to pay special attention to our communication regarding parking, stadium entry, and to review our gameday policies. We want our fans to arrive early, be loud and wear black."
Fans who have yet to secure season tickets for the upcoming season may do so at gobearcats.com/tickets. An extremely limited number of season tickets remain available. Fans are encouraged to contact the ticket office at 1-877-CATS-TIX to secure their seats today.

Cincinnati opens the 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4, against Miami (OH) at 3:30 p.m. ET inside Nippert Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and fans are encouraged to sign up for the digital platform online.

Cincinnati finished 9-1 in 2020, winning the American Athletic Conference Championship and playing in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, a New Year's Six Bowl. The Bearcats return 16 starters from last season's squad, including 2020 AAC Player of the Year Desmond Ridder and seven-time All-America selection Ahmad Gardner along with All-AAC selections Darrian Beavers, Marcus Brown, Coby Bryant, Myjai Sanders, Tre Tucker, Josh Whyle and Michael Young Jr. The 2021 roster projects to have nearly 40 local players who grew up and played high-school football in the tri-state area.
