CINCINNATI -- Junior outside hitter Sydney Nolan has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. 

This is Nolan's first weekly accolade from the Big 12.

The Florence, Ky. native was named the "Most Outstanding Player" from the Chattanooga Classic after finishing the three-match road stint with 53 kills, 22 digs and a .328 hitting percentage. 

Nolan and the Bearcats take on the Xavier Musketeers tonight inside Fifth Third Arena before heading on the road for back-to-back matchups against Illinois and Illinois State.
