Cincinnati left tackle Joe Cotton, the Bearcats' highest-graded offensive lineman by PFF in Saturday's win over No. 14 Iowa State, was named the Outland Trophy's National Player of the Week.

The redshirt-junior is part of an impressive unit that has earned three Big 12 Offensive Line of the Week honors out of its five games played. The Sioux Falls, S.D., native and former FCS All-American at South Dakota was also named to the Big 12 PFF Team of the Week.

UC rushed for a season-high 260 yards while building a 31-7 lead on the Cyclones, in addition to still only allowing one sack over five games to match the national lead.

Cincinnati hosts UCF at noon on Saturday on FS1.
