PositionAssistant Coach / Offensive Coordinator
Ashley Barlow brings over a decade of experience to the staff, including serving as a longtime assistant for eight seasons with Katrina Merriweather. Barlow enters her third season with the Bearcats in 2025-26. She works directly with the guards and serves as offensive coordinator.

In 2024-25, Barlow helped lead the team to its best winning percentage since 2019-20, including UC's highest non-conference winning percentage (.800, 8-2) since 2005-06 and its most conference victories (7) since 2019-20. She also played a pivotal role in the development of transfer point guard Tineya Hylton, who posted career-best numbers by surpassing her combined totals from three previous seasons, including 129 field goals and 109 free throws (up from 89 FG and 57 FT).

In 2023-24, the Bearcats saw a five-win improvement from the season prior and their 14 wins were the most in a single season since 2019-20. The squad posted its best non-conference winning percentage (72.7%) in 15 years and won six consecutive games during the stretch for its longest win streak since 2019-20.

In her two seasons at Memphis, she worked directly with the guards and was indispensable in the development of the program's all-time career three-point leader and two-time All-AAC selection Madison Griggs.

In her five seasons on the Raiders' bench, Barlow helped Katrina Merriweather compile a 113-47 record, four postseason appearances and two Horizon League Championships. Prior to Wright State, she spent three seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Evansville and two seasons in the same role at IUPUI.

Prior to coaching, the Indianapolis native was a standout guard for four seasons at Notre Dame from 2006-10 and became the only player in Fighting Irish history, male or female, to eclipse 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists and 250 steals in her career.

Barlow played one season professionally in Israel for Elitzur Rishon Le-Zion in 2010-11.
