Armory Fieldhouse serves as the indoor facility for UC Track & Field. It is also used by several other teams for indoor training. It was resurfaced after the opening of Fifth Third Arena in 1989 for multi-purpose use. In a historical context, Armory was the home of UC Men's Basketball from 1954 to 1976 and the women from 1972 to 1989, serving as the homecourt for Bearcats greats Oscar Robertson and Cheryl Cook, as well as UC's two National Championship teams.
