University of CincinnatiFuture Athletic Training PositionsDue to the continuous expansion of the sports medicine department, we have various one-year positions available. Typically, these positions start prior to or at the beginning of each academic fall quarter. Please check throughout the year for new positions or openings. Intern Athletic Trainer Application ProcedureDescription:The positions are contracted through Novacare Physical Therapy with all work commitments in the Department of Athletics at the University of Cincinnati. To work as an ATC under the supervision of the staff athletic trainers and report directly to the head athletic trainer. Provide medical care and coverage for Division I student-athletes and athletic teams as assigned. Assist in the instruction and supervision of athletic training students as an ACI. Qualifications: Must be NATABOC certified and be eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio upon start date. Qualifications:Prospective students must be NATABOC certified upon start date and eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio. Students must be accepted in the graduate program before a position is determined. An overall 3.0 GPA and GRE of 1000 is recommended for applying. Graduate programs:Applicants can choose from two areas within the Health Promotion and Education program. MEd in Health Promotion and Education MEd in Health Promotion and Education Benefits:Full tuition waiver, yearly stipend of approximately $9,500. 15% discount at the university bookstore.
