- Led team in tackling in each of his final two seasons.
- Amassed 308 total tackles.
- Served as team captain or co-captain for each of his final three seasons, the only player to do so in the 20th and 21st centuries.
- Recipient of the John Pease Award as the most outstanding lineman in 1977 and 1978.
- Garnered the Claude Rost Award as the team MVP in 1978.
- Reserve lineman with the Cincinnati Bengals.
- UC Athletic Hall of Fame 1996.
