Finalist at the AIAW National Championships in 1973 and 1974.
Represented the USA in the 1972 Olympics and won gold in the distance freestyle relay setting a new world record with a time of 1:57.97 seconds.
Won bronze medal at the 1975 Pan American games in the 100m freestyle.
