- Three-year regular who earned first team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in each of those three campaigns.
- Was named Missouri Valley Conference Sophomore of the Year in 1968.
- UC Most Valuable Player his junior and senior seasons.
- Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year in 1970, during which he led UC in scoring (19.2) and rebounding (15.2).
- Tied the UC single game record for blocked shots (10) which he shares today.
- Closed his career with 1,256 points and 941 rebounds.
- Honorable mention All-American in 1970 (AP, UPI).
- Selected in the first round by Seattle in the 1970 NBA Draft with the sixth pick overall.
- Played nine seasons of professional basketball.
- UC Athletic Hall of Fame 1996.
