Provided inspiration for UC's nickname Bearcats when a creative sportswriter in the school paper noted that invading Kentucky "may be Wildcats, but we have a Baehr-cat" prior to a 1914 contest.
Team captain in 1915.
Active in his fraternity and in the Sigma Sigma honorary.
UC Athletic Hall of Fame 1980.
