Brad Wilder Named All-American Scholar

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Aug. 2)-- University of Cincinnati golfer Brad Wilder has been named an All-American Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Wilder, who graduated this past May with a degree in finance, carried a 3.4 grade point average last season. He played in 33 rounds, recording a 76.5 stroke average. His low round of 71 came at the Kauai Collegiate Cup in Hawaii where he tied for 18th.
The Park Hills, Ky., native was named to the 2001 Conference USA Commissioners? Honor Roll and earned Bearcat Scholar honors for maintaining a 3.0 GPA or better. He also was named the team MVP for the second straight year.
Wilder will serve as an assistant to UC head coach John Reis this year while earning his master?s degree in business administration.
Candidates must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.33, carried a 76.5 or better stroke average and played in at least 75 percent of all competitions.
