Cincinnati's men's and women's basketball teams will usher in the 2001-02 practice season with Skyline Chili Midnight Madness on Friday at the Shoemaker Center.
Fans will get a chance to meet the teams and see the Bearcats' first workout in the first allowable moment for practice--seconds after midnight. Many will also have an opportunity to get involved in various contests based on the reality television competitions during the program.
Both teams will conduct autograph sessions. Oscar Robertson will be saluted during the program.
The doors open at 6:30 p.m. The evening begins with the volleyball team's match against DePaul at 7:30. The midnight madness program will begin at 10 p.m.
Seats still available for season ticket purchase will be tagged and fans will have the opportunity to check out and purchase those seats, beginning at 9 p.m.
The entire program, including the volleyball match, is free.
