K.B. Sharp Earns C-USA Honors

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- K.B. Sharp, who keyed Cincinnati's double overtime win over Louisville on Sunday, has been named Conference USA Player of the Week.
Sharp, the Bearcats' 5-9 senior point guard from Columbus, scored eight of UC's 10 points in the second overtime period and finished with a career-high 31 points. She played in all 50 minutes of the game and finished with career highs in field goals (13) and attempts (24). She also had eight rebounds and four assists.
Cincinnati upped its record to 18-5 with the win and is in second place in the C-USA race with an 8-2 ledger.
