PORTAGE, Mich.---Sophomore Allison Couch (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) finished just five strokes off the lead in a tie for fourth place at the Bronco Invitational at the Moors Golf Club on Monday.
Couch carded a final round 80 to finish with a 36-hole total of 155, only five back of Western Michigan?s Erica Bieniek.
In the team standings, the Bearcats finished a strong third with a total of 659, only three back of Grand Valley State and a stroke in front of Bowling Green. The host Broncos ran away with the team title, totaling a 625.
Bearcat senior Andrea Williams (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North) also scored a top-20 finish, totaling a two-day 166 to finish tied for 18th.
The Bearcats will play in their final match before the Conference USA Tournament on Wednesday, competing at the Northern Kentucky Invitational in Florence.
